Move your feet…
“Do not ask God to guide your footsteps if you are not willing to move your feet.” -Unknown Good morning! When I first read today’s quote, I immediately wished I could print it in neon across the sky. Some people pray to God for change or guidance. Others just want change or guidance. Either way, there is always one very important question that needs to be asked: “What are you prepared to do?”
While we might desire, yearn or wish for change, if we aren’t prepared to be an active participant, then we should not expect much. Being open to change is an important first step; meeting change halfway with action is the next.
Your Turn: How active have you been in pursuing change? Make sure your actions are equal to, or exceed, your desire.
Today’s Affirmation: I do not wait for change, I create it.

I have just recently gone back to church. The service last night was based around making positive changes in our lives during difficult times. The pastor talked about the most powerful prayer request anyone could make would be “God use me”. He warned not to make this request unless you were willing for changes in life that you may never have expected. He reminded everyone that when you ask for guidance, change, direction or to be put on the right path, you have to be willing to have faith and accept what comes. To open my e-mail this morning and have the same message is a blessing and another reminder. I realize that there are changes taking place in my life that may not feel very good at this moment. I also know that if I accept these changes with gratitude, they will shine a light on the path where I am now willing to move my feet one step at a time. Thanks Brook for this great inspiration!
