Making a difference…
“Who I am makes a difference” -a Good Morning reader found this message on a ribbon that came home from school with her seven-year-old son
Good morning! What positive reinforcement that school is practicing! Perhaps we should each make a ribbon or card displaying those six important words to remind ourselves that each and every day, who we are makes a difference!
One of my favorite quotes has always been, “Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, usually do” (source unknown.) We get to the place where we can make positive change by believing and embracing the concept that who we are makes a difference.
In today’s world, it is so easy to forget our own power and fall into the rut of blame or negativity. That’s why it is so important to focus each morning through the power of a “good morning,” and remember all that is good and right about ourselves and our world.
Your Turn: Write today’s quote on a piece of paper and place it where you will see it each morning.
Today’s Affirmation: Who I am makes a difference.
